Who is Magellan Circuits?

Headquartered in Shanghai, Magellan Circuits was established in 2004 and has over 20 years of experience in the PCB industry.

As we all know, there are R&D centers of many Fortune 500 companies in Shanghai, and we have cooperated with them for many years and established a partnership of mutual trust. We understand the technologies and processes required to create best-in-class products, and we can work seamlessly with companies around the world. This is our unique advantage, which is incomparable to many non-Shanghai companies.

Previously, our business was mainly based in China, for which we reorganized the foreign trade department in 2023, which is why you can see the reason for this site. The key members of this department are from world-renowned companies. We have rich experience and look forward to achieving a win-win situation with you!

Product Development Phase

NPI(New Product Introduction) phase:

Proof of Concept

Just have a project idea. Needs to develop a PCB board to verify if the idea is practical and realistic to proceed.

Prototype

At this stage project team should have a clear definition of the new product and the R&D team should design a prototype PCBA and debug and test its function and performance.

Preproduction

After the prototype PCBA has achieved the target expectation, R&D team should produce more PCBAs and do more engineering tests, including function, performance, EMC, Safety, Mechanical related tests, etc… The Q&A team should also be involved.

Pilot

More PCBAs are produced. Engineering team should pay more attention to the long time reliability and consistency among many PCBAs.Q&A team should validate the products and send out the final test report. Golden samples should also be submitted to certification labs to pass related tests. Product samples can be sent to potential customers for user-level tests.

Production

After products have passed related certification tests and acquired regulation PASS reports, products could be officially launched on related markets.
